Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, the donation services provided by Stichting Global Buds Foundation (“SGBF”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and all related content and activities. By accessing or using the site, or by making a donation, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Website Use

  • The website is provided for informational, educational and fundraising purposes.

  • You must not misuse the website (e.g., upload viruses, attempt unauthorised access).

  • All content (text, images, logos) is owned by SGBF or licensed to SGBF, unless otherwise stated.

3. Donation Terms

  • Donations are voluntary, irrevocable and non-refundable (subject to the Refund Policy below).

  • You select a program or “General Support” option when donating; we allocate funds in good faith, but may reallocate between programs if necessary to meet greatest need.

  • We accept online donations via our payment provider; your card or payment details are processed by the provider, and SGBF does not store full card details.

  • If your payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to retain your donation and any related costs may be charged to you.

4. Tax Deductibility

SGBF is a foundation (stichting) based in the Netherlands. Whether your donation is tax-deductible depends on your status and whether SGBF holds recognised public-benefit status (ANBI) or similar. We recommend you consult your tax advisor or the Dutch tax authority (“Belastingdienst”) for your specific situation.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials on the website (text, graphics, logos, audio, video) are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may only print or download for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and proprietary notices.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SGBF, its officers, board members, employees or partners will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of the site or your donation. In particular, we do not guarantee any specific outcome or impact from your donation beyond our general program objectives.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

8. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on the site with the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website or donation after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
